At 91ëƬ, our immersive phlebotomy training is a 105-hour program split between two consecutive courses. Students who enroll in our program will first study Medical Terminology & Anatomy & Physiology for Phlebotomy. In this phlebotomy training course, students learn the foundations for success in this career, including:

Medical Assistant Associate in Occupational Studies

The Medical Assistant associate degree can be completed in about two years, and students take courses such as Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Law & Ethics, Cardiovascular Care & Procedures, and more.

Clinical Medical Assistant Certificate

For students who want a quicker start to their medical assistant career, most students can expect to complete the Clinical Medical Assistant Certificate in as little as 14 months.

Some of the instruction will take place in a lecture classroom, while other parts of the program take place in a lab where you can practice the skills you will need in the real world.

Then students will attend clinicals which can take place in a hospital, doctor™s office, or other medical facility.

You will take the skills you™ve learned in your medical assistant program and really put them into practice.

If you successfully complete our accredited Medical Assistant programs, you can take national certifying exams through the National Healthcare Association (NHA). These certifications include:

• EKG Certification (CET)
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT)
• National Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA)
